Project P4:8
Welcome to Project P4:8!
The verse of the scriptures from whence this project is named reads thus:

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
This Project is a single page project and comprise of eight sessions.
At the end of the project we look forward to the following:
1. Vocals Challenge (Nursery 3-Pry 2)
2. Recorder Challenge (Pry 1 and 2)
3. Piano melodious pieces (selections for respective classes from Pry 1-Pry 2)
4. General Choir pieces: choir to comprise of Nursery 1 to Pry 2.
The Session Schedules are as follows:
1st session:
Introduce First Choir Piece: God is so good (verse 1)
Introductory piano lesson and exercises: the names of the natural keys and the fingering numbers.
2nd session:
Piano fingering exercises for natural keys.
Introducing the Recorder holes: 0-3 and the names of the respective keys at 0-3 (anatomy of keys: G, A, B, C' and D') with practice exercises: God is so good, etc (compose simple pieces for this).
General choir practice Session: God is so good (verse 1 review)
Learning the sol-fa notes for various melody lines such as Mary had a Little Lamb and other short melodies.
3rd session:
General choir practice Session: Learning the second and third verses of God is so good.
Learning various songs (melodious tunes) for the recorder, following the learnt keys/choose a pianist to practice God is so good melody with left hand accompaniments. The pianist should practice alone with supervision, while the recorder pupils work with their instructor and violin works with his/her instructor.
*Introductory session on Violin for the chosen player (choose a violin player in this session). The National Anthem may be given for the recorder.
4th session: cont'd with session 3 plan, except for the general choir now rehearsing the song God is so good. *Also, introduce a second song if time permits. The violin pupil should have completed the fingering training necessary to commence learning melodious tunes from next week.
5th Session: further Rehearsals, plus rehearsals for National Anthem and School Anthem played with the school drums (plus, National Anthem to be played on the Recorder).
6th Session: rehearsals.
7th session: rehearsals
8th session: Rehearsals.
